Diffuse alopecia is a general thinning of the hair all over. It generally effects older women, but has started to effect younger women and men due to high pressured careers. Stress, anxiety, depression, iron deficiency and thyroid imbalance are all contributors. The average life of a hair is approximately 3 years, but as we get older our hair is changing all the time and each hair that is replaced is slightly thinner in diameter than the one before, thus making the hair look thinner.
Regular treatment No 1 and home treatment is required. The more stimulation to the follicles and scalp the quicker the results.
